House of Rose Winery House of Rose Winery is located on the outskirts of Kelowna on the Okanangan Plateau in British Columbia. The vineyard and winery are situated in an area known as "the Belgo Bench" with both soil type and microclimate contributing to an excellent site for grape growing. The winery is nestled amoung apple orchards with a view of the mountains in all directions. Opened in 1993, House of Rose Winery is owned and operated by the Rose family, whose philosophy is to produce award winning wines at affordable prices. "We strive for excellence in our vineyards and wine making. Ours is a delightful winery with modern production facilities and a small, personal wine shop. As a family run winery you will receive a warm welcome. Experience the best tours in the valley and taste some of our award winning wines. On any warm day bring your lunch and picnic in our yard."

Directions
Travel 6 km up Highway 33 from the turnoff on Hwy 97 to the sign at Garner Road. Turn right off Hwy 33 and follow Garner Road for 2 kms.

  AUXERROIS '98
A bronze medal winner at the Rossland Wine Festival 2002, this is a delightful wine with a soft peach nose, and the taste of peach and mango. Serve with seafood, chicken or salads or on its own.
  CHARDONNAY '96
A gold metal winner at the Vernon Winter Carnival has a fresh green apple nose with a assortment of citrus flavours with a touch of apple and soft peppery aftertaste that stays in the mouth long after being drunk. Best with salads, chicken and seafood, it can be served with most foods. Served chilled.
  JOHANNISBERG RIELSING '98'"
This wonderful wine has delicate orange blossom and peach scents and a rich refreshing palate. This wine is served best with poultry, pasta, and seafood.
  OKANAGAN RIESLING (TROCKEN)
A bronze medal winner at the Pacific Northwest Competition 1999 in Washington, this is a dry wine with orange and lemon on the nose and palate produced from Riesling grapes. Excellent served with fish or chicken.
  PERLE OF ZALA '99
This is one of our most popular wines. It is a wonderfully mild, low acid wine with peach on the nose and both peach and soft citrus notes on the palate. Excellent for sipping, it can be served with any mild flavoured foods or just on its own.
  SEMILLON '98
The scent of herbs and wild grass, with flavours of lime and Granny Smith apples. Soft in flavour, it is best served with fresh water fish, seafood or chicken.
  VERDELET DRY '98
With the scent of white roses on the nose and a taste of pineapple and grapefruit, this is an excellent dry dinner wine which can be served with any food, including spicy dishes, smoked or strong flavoured meats.
  VINTNER'S CHOICE DRY '98
This blend of Chardonnay, Verdelet, Perle of Zala and Auxerrois has a scent of violets. A range of citrus flavours with a hint of peach, apple and liquorice. An excellent dinner wine, it is perfect for large social occasions.
