The scene above shows the view from
the second level of the wine tasting deck
overlooking the idyllic Shenandoah
Valley with Great North Mountain in the
background. This unique semi-arid
valley provides the ideal climate for the
production of great quality grapes that
go into Wolf Gap wines. Warm, sunny
days and cool dry nights produce the
conditions that bring valley grapes to
harvest bursting with fruity, crisp flavors. Although each vintage varies with the climate, the valley consistently produces some of the finest wines in the East. We invite you to savor the valley by
tasting and enjoying our wines. We plan
to open in the Spring of 2007.

Directions
Edinburg is about half way between Winchester and Harrisonburg
on I-81. From Edinburg we are about 10 scenic minutes west, to wit:
From the Edinburg, VA I-81 exit (exit 279), go west on Stoney Creek Road (Route
675) 2 miles. Turn left onto Wakeman's Grove Road (Route 682). Go 2 miles
farther and turn left on Cave Ridge Road (Route 694). Go 1 mile and turn left
(yes, left again) on Headquarters Road (Route 707). Go 1 more mile and turn left
(again) on Stout Road (Route 706). This is a typical, rural one-lane gravel road.
Fortunately you only have to go another 0.2 of a mile and you will see the Wolf
Gap Vineyard mailbox at 123 Stout Road. Turn left (again, whew) into the
driveway. You will see the winery straight ahead with our home on the left. Park
in front of the winery garage doors and ring the doorbell at entrance door just to
the right of the garage doors to gain entrance. Thanks for your patience. Enjoy
the view and the wine.

Cabernet Franc
This smooth, delicate

the second year in a row. This may be the
most delicious red wine we have made for you
to date. Come out and taste for yourself. You

smooth peppery finish that will make you

Chambourcin
This intense dark red wine is similar to merlot with rich body and great finish. Is a great wine to serve with steak, pizza, pasta and cheese. 2005 was a great year in the valley.

Petit Verdot Blush
This light, fruity pink wine bursts with citrus and plum flavors. Great with a sandwich or cheese plate. Makes a great tailgate beverage.

Petit Verdot Rosé
Another variation of the same grape as the blush, the rosé is more intense with a definite citrus and plum taste enhanced by a hint of sweetness. Great served as
an appetizer or with a picnic spread. A true "Valley Wine".

Riesling
This light, fruity, German-style wine brings a delightful crisp taste to your table. Serve with German food, chicken or fish. Also great as a before dinner appetizer or picnic beverage.

Traminette-Viognier blend
This European blend of full-bodied white wines has produced a delicate nectar easily sipped as an appetizer or later with a dinner of fish or chicken. You will keep coming back for this blend.
