Capay Valley Vineyards Welcome To Capay Valley Vineyards, founded in 1998 by Tom Frederick and Pam Welch. Capay Valley is the newest AVA (appellation) in California. The valley is located in northwestern Yolo County bordering Napa, Lake and Colusa Counties, two hours from San Francisco and one hour from Sacramento. We offer three varietals of wines -- Viognier, Tempranillo, and Syrah, made from our own hand-picked grapes. Vineyard tours are offered by appointment.

Directions
From San Francisco - Take I-80 north to Vacaville. Go north on I-505. Exit Highway 16 direction Esparto. Follow 16 through Esparto (the road makes several turns). We are on the right (east) side of 16 in Brooks - 9 miles from Esparto. From Sacramento - Take I-5 north to Woodland. Approximately 4 miles north of Woodland exit Highway 16 west. Follow signs to Esparto and Brooks. Brooks is 22 miles from Woodland.
