Our label recalls glorious apricot and prune blossoms which enhanced spring views from our hillside earlier in this century.

Highway 85 to De Anza Blvd exit; west towards Saratoga for 1 mile; right on Pierce Rd for 1.8 miles; right on Mt Eden Rd for 1 mile; right on Garrod Rd. or Highway 280 -- to Foothill Expwy exit; west towards the hills for 5 miles on Foothill Blvd which becomes Stevens Canyon Rd when it crosses Stevens Creek Blvd and continues past Stevens Creek Reservoir and into Stevens Canyon; left at stop sign in Stevens Canyon onto Mt Eden Rd for 1.6 miles, left on Garrod Rd.

Cabernet Franc, Francville Vineyard
Lush raspberry flavors blend nicely with velvety, soft touches of brown spice. Medium-bodied with light tannins. A refreshing summer wine when served cool, although not chilled. A wonderfully versatile wine that pairs nicely with a wide range of foods, including poultry, pork, lamb, and even some beef entrees!

Cabernet Sauvignon, Lone Oak Vineyard
The 1999 Lone Oak Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon is 100% estate-bottled Cabernet Sauvignon. These grapes were picked in four small lots in September 1999 with a median brix of 22.8. The wine was fermented to dryness in small, 100-gallon bins with punchdown four times a day. The wine was then pressed off the skins and aged in eleven French oak barrels for 20 months. 1,127 cases were bottled in August 2001.

Chardonnay, Gravel Ridge Vineyard
Essences of pear, casaba and citrus in the nose are followed by Granny Smith apple, citrus, star fruit, and firm peaches with a light touch of creaminess on the palate. The finish is warm, soft and lingering. Barrel fermented and aged in French oak for 10 months; 100% malolactic.

George's Vineyard, Cabernet Sauvignon
The color is a dark, rich purple-red. The nose is jammy, revealing blackberries and dark cherries. In the mouth, cassis, dark purple plums, ripe dark cherries, and rich berries. The long finish has the elegance of richly tanned leather.

R.V's Fine Claret
Our Bordeaux-style blend of 18% George's Cabernet Sauvignon, 52% Lone Oak Cabernet Sauvignon, and 30% Cabernet Franc, all aged in French Oak for 22 months and blended during the second year.

Syrah, Finley Vineyard
Deepest magenta in the glass, bordering on purple. Blackberries and plum jam in the nose, with a touch of smokiness. On the palate, one finds blueberries, blackberries, plums, and smoky bacon nuances amid a powerful tannin structure. Finishes with a pleasing side of gamey-ness, lingering like the best campfire ever.
