Wandering yet connected, the seed for Riverside Rhapsody Beer Company was planted in 2012 when Joey and Mike began brewing at Blue Mountain Pizza in Weaverville, NC. Blue Mountain provided the ideal environment for the duo to develop their skills, grow their passion into a profession and master their craft. Even though the small brewpub became a second home for the two, they aspired for more. After six years of hard work, dedication and patience, Mike and Joey finally saved enough capital to open their own brewery. They funneled their experience in the service industry, passion for the culinary arts and love for the outdoors and music into their dream business, Riverside Rhapsody Beer Co.
Riverside Rhapsody is a small craft brewery that provides Woodfin and the surrounding communities with a casual and comfortable community hub and local “watering hole”. Riverside specializes in IPAs and Belgian style ales, with the ability to expand into lagering and sour beers — in a way physically not possible at their previous place of employment. This brewery will prove to be an experimental expression of Mike and Joey’s decade long dream and they are excited to share it with you.
