Sister Creek Vineyards

Sister Creek Vineyards Sister Creek Vineyards is located in the heart of the Texas Hill County in Sisterdale, Texas (population 25). The traditional European wines (Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot) are made. European (Bordeaux and Burgundy) winemaking techniques are employed. Wine is aged in 60 gallon French oak barrels (Allier, Trocais and Nevers) and also in 60 gallon American oak barrels. Minimum filtration and fining allows the wine to retain its fullest flavors. In addition, an Italian style Muscat Canelli is produced. The vineyard is located between the cypress lined East and West Sister Creeks. An 1885 cotton gin has been restored to house the winery.
