Dry Hollow Vineyards is surrounded by the Hi-Valley Cherry Orchard in The Dalles, Oregon. The Vineyard is planted on a south-facing slope in rocky stone laden soil. These soils and the hot, dry climate in this part of the Columbia River Gorge combine to create optimum growing conditions for the wines we make. Our new scenic Tasting Room, nestled among cherry orchards, is located next to the Hi-Valley Vineyard. Come enjoy the view and our beautiful surroundings with a picnic and some wine!

Directions
From HWY 84, take exit #85 in The Dalles. Go to Hwy 30, turn right, take the first left on Brewery Grade. Drive up 300 yards, turn Right on Dry Hollow Road, driving 2.4 miles to Dry Hollow Lane, follow signs to winery.

Cabernet Sauvignon
This is a Cab-lover’s Cab. A bold spicy wine with a nice black cherry aroma. To add to the complexity, this wine is aged for 20 months in both American and French oak barrels giving it a hearty flavor with just the right balance of fruit acid and tannins that you will enjoy it alone or even more with a nice juicy steak. This wine presents a finish that makes you want to take another sip to make sure it will be the same next time.

Chardonnay (un-oaked)
We blended this wonderful Chardonnay with grapes from two vineyards in
Washington's renowned Columbia Valley. This wine is typical of many French
Chardonnays and has not been aged in oak, allowing the fruit and character of the grape to come through.

Fort Dalles Red
45% Merlot, 35% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Syrah. Complex flavors, nice Oak with light fruit taste, nice smooth finish. Great wine, superior value.

Merlot (estate)
Intense fruit, nice vanilla, oak and cedar. A smooth smoky flavor finishes with a soft cocoa. This estate vintage is grown right outside our tasting room on the South facing Hi-Valley Vineyard in The Dalles.

Syrah (estate)
This beauty was the first to sell out last year. Big, bold, spicy rich dynamic Syrah.

Viognier
Our first vintage Viognier is a wonderfully floral white wine with a nice acidity and complex finish, but retains a fresh quality throughout. Fresh apricots, pineapple and ripened pear aromas invite you for more. Good alone or with almost any cuisine. Pronounced (vee-on-yay)
