Welcome to the D & L Carinalli Vineyards website. Since 1996, Domenico Carinalli, Jr., and his wife, Lynda, have lovingly nurtured a beautiful vineyard of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir in Sonoma County, California. In 2009 we bottled our first Vin Rosé and Pinot Grigio wines.
Farming the land was handed down from Domenico Carinalli, Sr., who came to America in 1921 from his hometown in Germasino, Italy. Prominent on our wine labels is the picture of his family church which remains a symbol of the Carinalli heritage - commitment to tradition, quality workmanship and love of the land.
Although we are a relatively young winery, our wines have won numerous awards. Every wine we currently have available for purchase has won a Gold award or higher! Our 2011 Chardonnay won Double Gold at the San Francisco International Wine Competition 2013, receiving the "Best of Chardonnay". See Award. Our 2010 Chardonnay wine has won 18 awards including two gold awards. Our 2010 Pinot Noir won a Double Gold award at the Sonoma Marin Fair's "North of the Gate" competition and a gold award at the Affairs of the Vine 2013. Our 2009 Pinot Noir has won two Gold awards. Our 2011 Pinot Grigio wine won a Gold award at the San Francisco International Wine Competition 2012. Both our 2011 and 2010 Vin Rosé wines have won a gold medals as well.
