Worth Brewing Company

|
Worth Brewing Company is Peter and Margaret’s way of helping to reintroduce a great tradition – the locally owned brewery serving hand-crafted, high-quality, distinctive beers for the enjoyment of locals and lucky visitors. The nation’s small and mid-sized towns were once dotted with such breweries. Today, Worth Brewing – perhaps one of the world’s smallest craft brewers – brings a bit of those days back to delight the growing number of those who appreciate fine, locally brewed beers.

Bishopweizen German Wheat
Brewed for and named after the brewer's wife since the early 1990s, Bishopweizen is a traditional German hefe weizen with the characteristic clove and banana aroma and flavor.

Brown Ale
Our Brown Ale provides a pleasing malt aroma and flavor. U.S. 2-row and English chocolate malt provide notes of caramel, toffee, smoke and slight roast in a complex profile. Medium to light bodied, the sweetness is cut with German bittering and Perle flavoring hops.

Dillon Clock Stopper
Named for L.T. Dillon, the long-time jeweler who made the iconic Northwood Street Clock that still keeps time today. This beer also harkens back to a time before prohibition when the basic lager beers were maltier, hoppier and more flavorful than the watered down version of today's factory beers. Light-colored with a bit of yeast haze. Made with U.S. malted barley and 15% flaked maize.

Oatmeal Stout
Velvety smooth, with almost a ¼-cup of oats in each pint. The English pale malt and roasted barley combine for a black, slight roast hint that’s surprisingly drinkable. The oats contribute a rich creaminess. Glacier hops balance the slight sweetness.
|
Pale Ale
One of our flagship beers available year-round in our Tap room. Deep gold with a balance of malt and hops. Whole leaf centennial and locally grown cascade hops when available provide a viny, citrus note and firm bitter finish.
