A warm welcome awaits you at WineHaven Winery and Vineyard! Located in the heart of the beautiful Chisago Lakes Region, we invite you to experience WineHaven's fine dinner and specialty wines. Family-owned and operated by Kevin and Cheri Peterson, along with their sons, Kyle and Troy, WineHaven is one of the fastest growing wineries in Minnesota. After nearly 40 years of producing honey and fruit in the region, the Peterson's made their first commercial wines in 1995 and opened their winery shortly thereafter. Just three varieties of honey wine (mead) were produced that year; this year we produced nearly a dozen varieties of award-winning grape, honey and fruit wines. WineHaven is recognized as one of the top award-winning wineries in the Upper Midwest, having won state, national and international acclaim.

Directions
The winery is located just 35 miles north of Minneapolis and Saint Paul Minnesota. From the Twin Cities, head north on Interstate 35 to the Highway 8 exit (#132). Travel 8 miles east on Highway 8 to Chisago City. Turn north onto County Road 80 and take the first left onto 292nd Street. The winery is the 2nd driveway on the left (1/4 mile). Deer Garden® Blush

Deer Garden® Red
The sloping shores of Lake Ellen provide natural protection for grapes in our Deer Garden Vineyard, enabling them to ripen late into the season. The result is a pleasingly sweet wine with intense flavors of cherry and plum.

Deer Garden® White
Our semi-sweet Deer Garden White contains hints of apricots and tropical fruit. Excellent with desserts, rich cheeses, or as the finishing touch to a romantic dinner.

Gewurztraminer
Floral aromas with pear and pineapple tones and a pleasant mix of citrus and spice at the finish. Pairs well with any spicy cuisine, such as Chinese, Thai, or light Mexican. It is also wonderful with grilled seafood or sushi.

Grapewinds® Port
A medium-dry rosé with light fruity aromas and flavors. The perfect wine for summer picnics!

Ice Wine

Lakeside Chardonnay

Maréchal Foch

Medium - Dry Honeywine
A smooth, nicely balanced wine with a crisp, delicious finish.

Merlot
This full bodied wine features toasted oak flavors woven together by nuances of black cherry and berry. The long, satisfying finish makes this wine the perfect complement to beef or pasta dishes.

Raspberry Wine
Loaded with flavor, this wine contains more than 1 ½ pounds of raspberries per bottle!

Riesling
This medium-dry wine contains abundant peach, pear and floral notes that remain distinct through the soft finish. The perfect complement to fresh fish and poultry.

Semi-Sweet Honeywine
Boasts a spectacular perfume of honey which is accompanied by an intriguing array of floral scents. Presented to King Carl and Queen Silvia of Sweden during their visit to Minnesota in 1996.

St. Croix
A smooth combination of berry flavors woven together with rich oak overtones. Excellent with meats or pasta.

Syrah
A deep colored, distinctly elegant wine with layers of complex berry flavors and overtones of toasty oak. We recommend serving this wine with grilled meats, stews or hearty chicken dishes.
