"12 Ranch Wines" is a small family owned winery located in Bonanza, Oregon. We specialize in small, handcrafted lots of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah. Our grapes are hand picked from select vineyards in the Rogue Valley of Southern Oregon. We work very closely with all our vineyards through out the growing season, especially when it gets close to harvest. We must not forget that a great wine begins in the vineyard. Sugar, acid levels and when to harvest are just a few of the decisions our vineyards allow us to make. Discretion over the growing process, not “adjustments” during winemaking, let the grapes natural varietal flavor come through. Our wines reflect the true qualities of each vintage.

Cabernet Sauvignon
Our 100% Cabernet Sauvignon is unfiltered and has great color. It is showing a lot of flavor of the 2003 fruit. It is great to drink now or to hold on to for a couple of years. We pair this wine with Lamb, steaks or heartier pastas. It has been very popular in our pre release tastings.

Kenzie Red
The Kenzie red is a red table wine blended from Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah grapes. It is unfiltered and the only blend we make, it is a great everyday wine. This wine is meant to be enjoyed now and pairs well with chicken dishes especially stuffed chicken breast with a garlic mushroom sauce reduced with a little of the Kenzie Red. It is also great to sip on while enjoying appetizers before dinner.

Oregon Chardonnay
The 2005 Chardonnay is a light, crisp dry white wine. The grapes come from the Rogue Valley of Southern Oregon. It is 100% Chardonnay and produced completely in stainless steel. This wine is ready to enjoy now and pairs nicely with Salmon and crab melts. Also great for picnics and light appetizers. Enjoy!

Oregon Merlot
This is a full bodied, 100% Merlot with deep rich flavors and colors. As with all our wines, the merlot is unfiltered and handled by gravity methods only. This wine was aged in new and three year old Hungarian Oak barrels It can be enjoyed now or held onto for a few years. We like to pair this wine with grilled steaks covered with an Asian sauce or one of the premium blue cheeses from Southern Oregon. Enjoy!

Syrah
This big red is 100% Syrah and unfiltered. It truly shows the big bold flavors of the Syrah grape. We pair this wine with hearty meat dishes and it’s a great match with a decadent orange chocolate truffle dessert. This wine can be enjoyed now and will continue to age well for several years.
