Treat yourself to a trip to the rolling hills of southern Wayne County. Transcend into the late19th century estate of a prosperous farming community. Our tastefully restored century homestead and barn conjure up images of a simpler, cleaner, more peaceful life.
Sample our hand-crafted wines, pressed, fermented, and bottled on our farm using select California grown vinifera-grapes. Relax outdoors on our manicured lawns nestled among fragrant pines which provide homes for hundreds of song birds. Fontana (our grandaughter’s Haflinger) along with Roscoe and Lilly (rescued Donkeys) graze in the nearby pastures. Sit along the banks of our artesian-fed trout pond and enjoy the enchanted surroundings. Specious seating on the patio is a perfect spot for relaxing and listening to the gentle sounds of oldies and classic rock-n-roll music. Most Saturday nights, we offer live musical performances from some of Ohio’s best bands.
Step inside and marvel at the fine craftsmanship of this 1860’s Dutch built barn. This Ohio landmark exhibits the original timber-framed beams, polished and ruff-sawn timbers cut from local mills. A wall of windows where the stall doors once stood overlook the patio and sweeping lawns. View the eclectic collection of primitive tools and artifacts the family has collected over the years. Massive imported 19th century doors from Italy showcase the Barrel room along with comfortable leather and cozy tapestry sofas and chairs. This is a perfect spot to enjoy a glass of wine and chat privately with friends.
