As a soldier in the United States Army, our fearless leader traveled around the world and developed a taste for beer. He would try beers in all the countries where he was deployed. After his retirement 20 years later, he was lucky enough to find a job that allowed him to continue traveling around the world as well as the country, tasting more beers. He settled in Northern Colorado with his wife and two sons and began experimenting with brewing his own beer. He has had several successful brews as an amateur brewer in competitions across the US. He took that experience and collaborated with West Flanders Brewing Company to brew one of his favorite recipes, Snowy Wit. The response was overwhelmingly positive and continues to be a popular offering at West Flanders. His dream of opening his own brewery was realized last year. After exploring several opportunities in Northern Colorado, he settled on a property that was being developed in Wellington. After lots of research and planning, we are looking forward to sharing the knowledge he has gained over the years, with our fellow craft beer-loving friends in Northern Colorado.
