A partnership to bring the authentic Detroit flavor to the brand: Kate Bordine has a handle on business, events, and design. The right balance of the team are two more talented women: Distillery Manager JeanMarie Morrish and Sales Director Lynne Savino.
For Our/Detroit we teamed up with Pernod Ricard to create a vodka that is made by local people but connected globally. They provide the micro-distillery & recipe and we are in charge of the local business, sales and marketing.
We collaborate to bring authentic Detroit flavor to the brand while strengthening our mission to invigorate Detroit through community engagement, outreach and celebration.
Our/Detroit – the second member of the brand new international global & local family; Our/Vodka. With Our/Vodka, Pernod Ricard creates quality vodka with a character using ingredients sourced as locally as possible, in different cities around the world. Our/Detroit is the second (after Our/Berlin) and the first micro-distillery in the United States. We opened August 2014 in Detroit, Michigan. We partly distill, blend and handbottle the vodka in the micro-distillery and we have a tasting room. The 350ml resealable bottle sticks out with its crown cap, simple, clean and charming design, while the unique size makes it perfect for sharing and enjoying with friends. Our/Detroit has a mild and fresh taste, smoothed out by a soft fruity note. The bottles are sold out of our tasting room for $16.99
