The birth of Tatum Cellars was the same year as the birth of our daughter, Tatum Rose, in 2012. Our founder and winemaker, Joshua Fritsche, was busy working in the cellar and vineyards of William Chris when he noticed the industry was severely lacking in a specific wine style, dry rosé …The idea of Tatum Rosé was born.
Initially, the brand was focused solely on dry rosé but demand for the initial 40 cases, pushed us to make more. We began partnering with outstanding growers to source the best fruit in the state. Our relationships with these growers allowed us to focus on single vineyard offerings as we believe that is the best way to truly express terroir. As our 11th vintage approaches, we are excited to bring you approximately 1,500 cases of 100% Texas wines.
