? Known for its cherries, Mosier is also uniquely suited to grow quality wine grapes. Well-draining soils of sand and cobble stones litter the terrain of our site, which is predominately south-facing. This property in Mosier is our home base, where we have planted red varieties and recently completed construction of our winery. In addition, we continue to farm the Atavus Vineyard near White Salmon, Washington. The vines of Atavus are nearly fifty years of age, perched on a south-facing slope at 1700 feet, and produce Gewürztraminer and a distinctive Pinot Noir. We also co-farm the Oak Ridge Vineyard near Husum, Washington, where Gewürztraminer, Chardonnay, and Pinot Noir grows.
