North Fork Brewery’s Barrel House

The Barrel House was born in the summer of 2022 because we outgrew the barrel aging program at our main location in Deming, WA. It is now our dedicated spot for fermenting in wood, both spontaneously and mixed-culture. We will be using heaps of local fruit and also bottling out of this location.
Like the dining room at our brewery on Mt. Baker Highway, The Bottle House is home to a unique collection of vintage beer bottles and memorabilia. Our “bottle walls” display retro-style designs and labels from up and down the West Coast. Two of the walls are dedicated to breweries who’ve been huge inspirations over the years to Eric Jorgensen, our Head Brewer: Midnight Sun Brewing (Anchorage, AK) and The Ale Apothecary (Bend, OR). The remaining walls highlight Washington, Oregon, California, and Pennsylvania (both a pioneer in the craft beer industry and a nod to owner Jim Green’s home state).
Our 10-tap custom draft system, built by Eric himself and Brandon from Shuksan Timber Works, typically offers some of our sour projects, other ales & lagers from the Deming location, and (as we love to do) lots of collaboration brews. We share the building with Bellingham Cider Company. You can find their wonderful products stocked in our cooler.
