t Virginia Mountain Vineyards you can forget about the present and enjoy the picturesque mountain views visible on top of Zion Hill. Surrounded by the Blue Ridge Mountains to the east and the Alleghany Mountains to the west, the winery is located fourteen miles north of interstate 81, just off route 220 outside the center of Historic Fincastle. We welcome you to savour a glass of your favorite wine as you view the rolling hills of the vineyard and tour the winery. As a first generation family owned and operated vineyard and winery, many hard hours have been spent making the winery what it is today. Owners David and Marie will be glad to enlighten you on any questions you may have concerning the vineyard or winery; greater knowledge about grape growing, harvesting, and processing may help you to better appreciate and enjoy a good wine.

Directions
From Points North: Take I-81 south to exit 162. Left on Route 11. Right on Rt. 641 (Oak Ridge Rd.) Right on Rt. 606 (Blue Ridge Tpk.) Straight at stop sign onto T630 (Main St.). Right on Rt. 220 (Botetourt Rd.). Left on Rt. 655 (Old Fincastle Rd.) 4.2 miles to winery on right. From Points South: Take I-81 north to exit 150B, turn right off ramp. North 10.7 miles on Rt. 220 towards Fincastle. Left on Rt. 655 (Old Fincastle Rd.) 4.2 miles on right.

An intense, full-bodied, spicy red wine with an aroma of blackberry. Pair with red meat, wild game, and aged cheese.

Rose'
Popular as far back as ancient Greece, Rose' wines are produced by removing the skins just before the wine is deep red. A light taste of berry makes it a very casual wine. Serve chilled with simple seafood, sandwiches, or spicy Cajun or Asian dishes.

A spicy citrus semi-dry table wine. An excellent complement to seafood as well as ham, and turkey. Served chilled.
