The Orchid House Winery was originally known as Dankorona Winery and later became ThornCreek Winery & Gardens. In early 2023, Thorncreek Winery was purchased and re-branded as The Orchid House Winery. The Orchid House Winery is operated by Tap Root Hospitality Group, which also owns and operates Sapphire Creek Winery & Gardens in Chagrin Falls, Ohio. Orchid House Winery is also the location of Tap Root Hospitality’s Never Ordinary Bourbon Society, a high–end, members-only bourbon club.
