  2002 Coda
Dark cherry and strawberry aromas are framed nicely by allspice and oak nuances. The palate is plush and soft, with the strawberry and cherry pie flavors echoing from the nose. The wine is generously proportioned, open knit and finishes with easygoing, ripe tannins. Designed to drink young, losing a few in the cellar might provide a gem in a few years. 43% Cabernet Franc, 28% Merlot, 23% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Petit Verdot. 460 case production.
  Bel Canto
The aromatic nose immediately seduces with dusty blackberry and strawberry fruit mixed with graphite and star anise. The silky feel of Red Mountain Cabernet Franc immediately coats the mouth. The palate has layered black fruits and spice, with waves of flavors carrying through the long, spicy finish. The flavors are framed by persistent powerful tannins and balanced acidity. 48% Cabernet Franc (Ciel du Cheval Vineyard), 48% Merlot (Tapteil Vineyard), 4% Petit Verdot (Ciel du Cheval Vineyard). 90 case production.
  Ciel du Cheval Vineyard
The elegance of the Ciel du Cheval vineyard shines through with the 2003 vintage. The nose offers complex aromas of tobacco, pencil lead, anise and blueberry. Flavors are concentrated, with layers of earthy spice, blueberries and ripe black fruits. Waves of flavors erupt as the wine opens in the glass. The wine finishes with great balance, ripe tannins, dark berries and lingering spice. 43% Cabernet Sauvignon, 29% Cabernet Franc, 23% Merlot, 5% Petit Verdot. 420 case production.
  Klipsun Vineyard
We continue to tame the infamous Klipsun tannins to balance the full-bodied fruit. The nose offers raspberries, blackberries, bitter chocolate and meatiness. Broad flavors evoke black fruits, pie spices and earthiness. Klipsun finishes with big dusty tannins and lingering blackberries. 70% Merlot, 19% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Syrah, 4% Petit Verdot. 330 case production.
  Tapteil Vineyard
This is the wine for those willing to be rewarded for the wait. The nose shows powerful dusty spice, black and red fruits, and anise. On the palate there are deep, concentrated black currant, stone fruits, bitter chocolate and allspice. The flavors expand into the back half, exhibiting luxurious tannins with grip and persistence. This wine has a long life ahead of it. 49% Cabernet Sauvignon, 34% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Franc, 2% Petit Verdot. 460 case production.
