'02 Estate Riserva II
As our vineyard continues to mature, so does the wine in complexity. This vintage year contains about 70% Sangiovese and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon. Unfiltered and unfined, it continues our characteristic deep red clarity and crisp finish, known among world class "super-Tuscans".

'03 Estate Riserva III
A delectable blend of 58% Sangiovese and 42% Cabernet Sauvignon in the "Super Tuscan" tradition. It is estate grown, produced, and bottled. Our goal - To create an appealing wine that is easily drinkable now or can lay down for a few years to further evolve complexity.

'03 Fighter Pilot Red
This is our third vintage of this predominately Zinfandel based wine. In fact, this vintage contains more Zinfandel than its predecessors. Named for Sherm's Navy fighter pilot background, this red continues to mystify all who dare partake in it's unique boldness. We produce this wine for one reason only - To "push the envelope" blending different red varietals. The result is a medium bodied complex wine of unique character. We have always loved Zin and we continue to blend it with our estate Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon. The blends each year vary because each year our fruit characteristics vary.

'03 Tempestuous
This is the first release of this fine varietal and she is just starting to get recognized in California. The wonderful Spanish grape, Tempranillo, has really made a lasting impression on us. Using our style of wine making, this fine red is very easy to drink. Named "Tempestuous" for her attitude during fermentation, this light to medium body red oozes red berry fruit flavors with a hint of cloves on the nose. The finish is long and silky with remnants of spice. The hint of California oak adds to the complexity of her character. This grape hails from a small vineyard in San Benito County.
