Lachini Vineyards Estate Vineyard

Lachini Vineyards Estate Vineyard We are committed to making world-class Pinot Noir from our Estate Vineyards and have assembled a talented team who share in our passion, commitment and responsibility. Our guiding philosophy begins with growing classical Pinot Noir wines that retain the essence of our specific vineyard terroir along with each vintage's character, while assimilating the complex clonal expression that embody our wines as a unique expression of the land and people who nurture it. Our aspiration then, is to produce small lots of the highest quality wines from our Pinot Noir grapes following traditional Burgundian winegrowing practices. As such, the artistic expression through winemaking technique, further expresses the distinctive personalities of our wines. We invite you to enjoy! Our dream has been a small Oregon estate specializing in Pinot Noir. A yearning for the old world and a passion for Pinot Noir led Ron and Marianne to Oregon in 1997; a patient pursuit to establish a winery and way of life that has existed for generations. After researching for several years, they decided Oregon offered the best opportunity for their quest to make world-class Pinot Noir. The intense purity of fruit, the unique microclimate(s) and geological formation over time that represents Oregon, was the driving factor for settling upon the North Willamette Valley.

  "S" Pinot Noir
The 2004 ‘S’ was harvested 1.5 weeks later than our 2004 Lachini Family Estate Pinot Noir, resulting in another full-throttled, fruit-forward and richly extracted Pinot. Offers concentrated heady aromas of ripe black cherries and a touch of toasted oak. Deep saturated ruby color with well-focused layers of wild blackberries, dark cherries and brambleberries. Finishes lively, with spicy and jammy tones and a nice underlying silky texture. It should benefit from short-term cellaring and age for a minimum of 2-7 years. Is there any truth to fans who refer to the ‘S’ as appropriately standing for “smokin”, “sultry” or “sexy”?"
  ‘S’ Pinot Noir
  Ana Vineyard Pinot Noir
Foresty, mushroom notes in the nose, like the scent of a forest floor on a warm day. Dark ruby color, it is a delicious, full-bodied Pinot noir with loads of sweet Bing cherry fruit and subtle cinnamon flavors. Shows several layers, finishing with a hint of minerality followed by lovely soft palate with fine tannins. It is already subtle and approachable, yet will benefit from cellaring 3-10 years
  Estate Pinot Noir
  Pinot Noir
In just its second release, this tiny Yamhill County winery has found its stride. The wine is made by Isabelle Dutartre, a Burgundian-trained winemaker who commutes from her home in France. This classic wine provides aromas of subtle cherries, black pepper and French oak spices and flavors of dark, jammy cherries and red licorice. Sweet, supple tannins meld with right-on acidity for a long, smooth, balanced finish. Rated "Outstanding" by Wine Press Northwest.
