Baptista Maresh Vineyard
From around 1900 until the 1960's, the Red Hills of Dundee were covered in prune orchards.
The Maresh family farm, with 27 acres, began in 1959,and at one point spanned 200 acres across the Red Hills, well before grapes were planted in the Willamette Valley. The family orchards included prunes, walnuts, cherries, and filberts.
The ten acres that are now Baptista Maresh Vineyard were planted in filberts in the '50's. Baptista Maresh Vineyard co-owner Dave Maresh helped farm it as a boy, and was always attracted to its slope and views.
