Belle Meade Winery

Belle Meade Winery Belle Meade Plantation is a 30-acre historic site 6 miles west of Nashville. The centerpiece of the property is the Belle Meade mansion, built in 1853. Belle Meade Plantation was created as an educational, non-profit organization in 1953. The historic site consists of the mansion, the stables (where some of America's most famous thoroughbred horses were raised), the winery and six other outbuildings. The Winery at Belle Meade Plantation is Tennessee’s newest winery and Nashville’s only winery to date! This addition to our guest experience here on the Plantation is a natural fit. For over 200 years, the Harding and Jackson families opened the doors to the mansion for friends and visitors, and the finest food and drink became part of the tradition of Belle Meade.
