Buehler Vineyards
Buehler Vineyards encompasses 300 acres of Napa Valley hillside terrain. After early experiments with Pinot Blanc and Muscat Canelli, we've learned to focus on the varietals that our three decades of viticulture have proven best suited to our site: Cabernet Sauvignon and Zinfandel. 65 acres are planted. The rest of the estate remains a rugged habitat for deer, wild turkeys, rabbits, coyotes, eagles, mountain lions, and three generations of the Buehler family.

Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
The wine is brimming with fruit aromas and flavors biased to the black fruit end of the cabernet spectrum: plums, blackberry, black currant. Rich and full-bodied on the palate, this cabernet drinks well on release but will soften and develop with additional age.
Napa Valley Estate Cabernet Sauvignon
The aromas hint at black fruit: ripe black cherries and black plums. Enticing barrel qualities of cola and spice complement the fruit aromas. On the palate, the wine shows layers of deeply extracted flavors that only mature hillside vineyards can give.
Napa Valley Estate Zinfandel
Our 2001 Estate Zinfandel is born from grapes harvested from both of our estate zinfandel blocks. Dry-farmed for over a decade, these mature thirty year old vines typically give us around 2.5 tons/acre of beautiful hillside zinfandel fruit. Interspersed among the head-trained vines are a handful of petite sirah vines amounting to perhaps 5% of the total vines in this block. A traditional field companion to zinfandel in pre-prohibition California vineyards, petite sirah contributes pepper, color, and tannin structure to the wine.
Napa Valley Zinfandel
Our Zinfandel is aged for 14 months in a combination of French and American oak barrels, 20% of which are new. At this level of “new wood”, the up-front endearing quality of Zinfandel can assert itself. Aromas of a briar patch on a hot summer day carry over to the palate and are carried in a mouth-filling, flavorful, juicy package that promises years of enjoyment ahead.
Russian River Chardonnay
The 2002 Russian River Chardonnay spotlights the floral/lime quality of the fruit aromas and accents them with toasty, graham cracker sur-lie qualities. The mouthfeel is creamy and full but the natural acidity of the Russian River fruit carries this velvet textured package to a long, clean finish.
Russian River Reserve Chardonnay
Varietal chardonnay aromas of peach and citrus blossom are complemented by sur lie notes of crème brulee and graham crackers. On the palate, the wine displays a creamy, lush texture with a long, lingering finish.

White Zinfandel Napa Valley
Our means of bringing you consistently delicious wines remains unchanged since 1983: we hand-pick our 100% Napa Valley zinfandel fruit riper than most producers and leave less residual sugar. Riper fruit translates to flavors like wild berries and strawberries; yes, real red zinfandel fruit flavors! The end result is a wine with more red zinfandel berry character and a less sweet, more refreshing taste
