Columbia Valley "Firehouse Red"
Tastes like really, really good red wine. Hard to separate all the flavors. Which varietal is lending which notes? Who knows? Who cares? Rounded, lush, layered and lovely, the ultimate food wine, pairing well with everything from pasta and pizza to grilled meat and roasted chicken.
Columbia Valley Cabernet Franc
Lots of ripe red plum and bright strawberry fruit, very food-friendly and full-bodied with chocolate covered cherries and sweet tannins. The first red wine Tamarack Cellars bottled as a 100% varietal.
Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Powerful and full bodied with ripe and rich flavors of dark blackberry and chocolate layered with the spicy notes of new French oak. Of all the Tamarack reds, this shows the most length, complexity and balance.
Columbia Valley Chardonnay
Notes of apple, citrus and mango coat the palate for a creamy and buttery texture, with a long finish and just a hint of smooth oak.
Columbia Valley Merlot
Firm and focused on the palate this is one big Merlot. The flavors are almost piercing in their intensity with loads of classic dark cherry and ripe fruit that lingers and becomes richer and more intriguing in the mouth.
Columbia Valley Merlot
An abnormally cold artic blast caused damage to some of our the vineyards that Tamarack utilizes, forcing additional exploration of new grape sources with tremendous results. Tamarack achieved the quality it sought of highly extracted, very ripe and balanced wines.
Columbia Valley Sangiovese
Our inaugural release of Sangio has oodles of bright strawberry and raspberry fruit with floral notes, food-friendly and full-bodied with sweet tannins and a smooth finish with a trace of French oak.
Columbia Valley Syrah
Fragrant scents of ripe cherry, toast and rose petals open into an elegant and balanced palate of chocolate covered cherries, cranberry and sweet oak. Modest in size but complex, luscious, long and delicious.
Sagemoor Vineyard Reserve
Sagemoor Vineyard is an esteemed site of old vine vineyards overlooking the beautiful Columbia River. Sagemoor is considered the parent vineyard to some of the most respected and desired vineyards in all of Washington State.
