Roussanne and Viognier have engaging aromas and distinctive fruit flavors that make them among the most dynamic of white grape varieties. Our blend starts out with ripe apple aromas. The center of the wine moves to lively tropical fruit flavors. A short time in new French oak adds a touch of vanilla. Forward fruit, delicate and well balanced, the wine pairs well with seafood, light flavored cheeses and will be ideal with turkey dinners this holiday season. The Stillwater Creek Vineyard is the source for all the Roussanne and 90% of the Viognier. The remainder of the Viognier is from our Chelan Estate Vineyard.

Our Chelan Estate vineyard provided all the Merlot and Syrah for this wine. Engaging black cherry aromas, ripe blackberry fruit, cola, oak spice, elegant and balanced, smooth lingering finish with a hint of licorice that is becoming a trade mark of our vineyard. Merlot 90.5%, Syrah 9.5%

Pinot Noir grapes are grown on our eight acre vineyard on the cool south shore of Lake Chelan. We grow three clones of Pinot Noir, #115, #113 and #13. Each of these clones adds its own character and qualities to the final wine. 2006 was a normal growing year for the Chelan Valley. The cool spring was followed by a warm summer and cooling once again in the fall produced good flavors and even ripeness.
