Cabernet Sauvignon
This 2009 full-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon with aromas of dark red fruits backed by rich toast and vanilla notes are nicely integrated. The fifteen months of aging has allowed the flavors to develop and round out. Highly extracted with good mature tannins and structure, this is a wine that will hold its own over time. A deep mid-palate with plenty of fruit and oak is highlighted by plum and dark cherry flavors. The combination of oak, tannin, and fresh acidity will keep the Cabernet together for a long time, aging gracefully to ten years. This lush wine pairs well with rack of lamb, fettucine alfredo, steak, and braised pork.

Petit Manseng
This French/Hungarian Oak barrel fermented wine is reminiscent of an Old World style Petit Manseng. Aromas of pineapple, pear, and vanilla with a toach of oak are in harmony. On the palate, fruit notes such as lemon rind, grapefruit, and pineapple are complemented by toasted oak and acidity. Petit Manseng grapes have been grown since the Middle Ages at the foothills of the Pyrenes, in Jurancon, in the southwest of France. According to legend, the wine of Jurancon was served at the baptism of King Henry IV in the year 1553. This wine pairs well with spicy Asian cuisine, crab, lobster, foie gras, and strong cheese. It is also pleasant as an apertif.
