Cabernet Franc
Always one of the favorites at Sharp Rock, our Cab Franc is soft and supple and very easy to drink. A Bordeaux style blend with a small amount of Malbec, this is a great wine served at room temperature with pastas, cheeses, and red meat.
Cabernet Sauvignon
Just released this Cabernet has the fruity and cherry nose you would expect from a Bordeaux style red. Blended with some Petit Verdot this wine will age well and pairs nicely with roasted red meats as well as robust cheeses, pates, and sausage.
Chamois Blanc
A fruity semi-dry white wine blended from Chardonnay and Vidal. Very aromatic with hints of pineapple and litchi, its rich flavors make an ideal after dinner wine. Multiple gold medals in national and international wine tasting competitions.
Chamois Rouge
A new wine for us this year and has met with great success from both our customers and wine judges. Chamois Rouge is a semi-dry blend of Chambourcin and Cab Franc that is dark, spicy, and wonderfully fruity. A great picnic wine or after-dinner aperitif slightly chilled.
Chardonnay
Fermented in stainless steel to retain its fresh fruit flavors our Chardonnay is crisp with flavors and aromas of gala apples. Recommended slightly chilled with fruit, pork, and poultry. A great everyday table white.
Chardonnay Reserve
Aged over eight months in new French and Virginia oak barrels, this wine is full- bodied and complex, with excellent balance and structure. You will taste aromas and flavors of vanilla and almonds with soft notes of butter. One of our most decorated wines. An award winner at every major competition.
Malbec
Made with 100% Malbec grown here at Sharp Rock, this wine displays the traditional cool weather boysenberry/raspberry nose with rich tannins, berry flavors, and a smooth, but powerful, finish.
Sauvignon Blanc
A classic style wine, very crisp, with citrus flavors and aromas, featuring notes of lemon and grapefruit. Served very cold with fish, salads, cheeses, and hors d' oeuvres. A very refreshing wine in warm weather. The only Virginia Sauvignon Blanc to win a medal at the Indy International.
Synergy
A priority cuveƩ of Petiti Verdot and Merlot with aromas of cedar and spice, rich berry flavors and a soft, smooth finish.
