End of the Road
“End of the Road” means what it means — it was the last wine to be bottled at Granite Heights for the 2008 Vintage. We debated calling this last blend “End of the Row” but decided to go with “End of the Road,” which is a blend of 70% Cabernet Franc and 30% Merlot.

Evening Serenade
Evening Serenade at Granite Heights in Virginia reminds us of the sun setting over our property and the melodious sounds of the various birds filling the air — it’s as if the birds are bidding farewell to the evening. With the setting of the sun, the evening breeze, and the harmony of the birds, this blend of reality becomes an Evening Serenade to us — especially with a glass of wine. The senses come alive—sight, sounds, and smells. We hope our blend of wine— 52% Cabernet Franc, 40% Merlot, and 8% Cabernet Sauvignon— will make your senses come alive.

Lomax Reserve
This blend of wine (80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc) is named after our neighbor, Mr. Lomax. We hope to remember him always with a wine blend. After all, a great blend is a combination of individual features that leads to a greater result – synergism at its finest. Mr. Lomax was this and more. A veteran, farmer, husband, father, and most importantly, a gentlemen to the highest degree. A man that would always tip his cap to say hello. Always willing to give and take nothing in return, except a “thank you.” The world needs more persons like this. So, in enjoying this blend, ponder for just a moment good people like Mr. Lomax and his wife and make a toast in their honor.
