Phil and Jessica Crouch established Crouch Distilling in 2014. Before opening Crouch Distilling, Phil was a miller for a local organic grain mill. While there his interest in grains evolved from milling grits and flour to brewing beer. Soon Phil and Jessica were distilling whiskey in their kitchen with a small copper pot still. Phil was inspired to open a distillery where he could use his experience to create a unique line of craft whiskeys. We take pride in every step of our craft, all the way from the grain to your glass.
We started our distillery to make our own whiskey, not repackage someone else’s. We choose the finest grains and malts for our spirits and mill them all ourselves. We are proud that we mash and distill our own spirits in small batches. Our whiskeys are aged on site in our unique cooperage and bottled by hand.
