Bold and deep describe this flavorful wine which boasts complex aromas of blackberry, blueberry and cassis (European black currant). The tannins are beautifully integrated in this classic, old world style red. The free run wine was first fermented in stainless steel tanks then moved into oak barrels. The wine was cellared for 24 months then bottled in September 2003 and aged in the bottle for another 10 months prior to release in the second half of 2004. The extended aging given to this wine prior to release makes it ready to drink now. Limited quantities remaining.

In classic Burgundian fashion, a creamy texture results from the winemaking style of Cave B Chardonnay, whose sur-lie treatment involves stirring of the sediment twice every month of its pre-bottle life. Delicately proportioned and reminiscent of a white Burgundy, this wine exudes complex notes of butter, banana, honey and even juicy fruit. Only available on site and online.

Nice color of garnets, this cuvee blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc opens with pleasant cherry aromas and sweet oak. Excellent body. The tannin and fruit intensity promise to age well in your private cellar. Limited quantities remaining.

his bold red wine epitomizes the ultimate Merlot. Blended with 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, all senses burst to life through deep color, lovely nose and sultry mouth feel. The full-bodied tannins ensure a long finish and long cellar life.

The four barrels selected for this wine were given a total of 30 months of barrel ageing, a full nine months longer than is typically employed at Cave B Estate Winery, and longer than almost anywhere period. The results are a classic oak enhanced Chardonnay deserving of the Reserve designation. Limited quantities available.
