Three Lakes Winery

Three Lakes Winery Nestled against the Nicolet National Forest and surrounded by the world's largest chain of inland lakes, Three Lakes Winery offers its premium fruit and berry wines - and a whole lot more. In 1972, John and Maureen McCain opened for business in what used to be the Chicago Northwestern Train Depot, making Wisconsin's first Cranberry Wine. John's recipe was an instant hit along with Maureen's gracious hospitality, and today the next generation of McCains continue their success creating award-winning wines while also making sure your visit to Three Lakes Winery is something to look forward to again and again.

  Apricot Wine
Smooth like a sweet white wine with a subtle hint of spicy ripe apricots. The light blonde tint may vary from batch to batch; a true sign of the wine's natural essence made ONLY from whole apricots. Serving Suggestion: Serve with spicy vegetarian dishes, or creamy, rich soups; oriental salads.Wine Can be served chilled with a sprig of mint.
  Blackberry Wine
To highlight the fact that we have always used only premium Marion Blackberries to make this award-winning wine, we have changed the name to Wine of the Marion Blackberry. Well-rounded and as delicate as the fruit it came from, twenty years of refinement is apparent. Its deep color mirrors the heart of this wine, which stays true to the distinct character of the blackberry. A smoky, smooth undertone hides in the berry aromas.
  Blueberry Wine
A new addition to our wine list, Blueberry Wine has quickly taken over second place in popularity! The flavor is so pure and fresh, it resembles our Blackberry Wine in character. Semi-sweet and very refreshing.
  Cranberry Wine
Fresh and distinct, the tart flavors of the cranberry are sweetened to an "easy-to-enjoy" taste. The appealing scarlet color reflects the wine's origin; pure, robust and unmistakable cranberries. Perfect to serve with Fall and Winter holiday meals, it has the strength to compliment the heartiest fare. Gold Medal Winner San Francisco International Wine Competition 1999
  Cranberry-Raspberry Wine
The sweet, luscious raspberry nose on this wine is deceiving; when on the tongue, the two berries compete for attention. This blend of tart and sweet are equal in strength, and eventually marry to create zesty lemon and warm jam after-tastes.
  Elderberry Wine
The most striking feature is the rich, midnight purple tint this wine reveals at first glance. Exotic herbs and a touch of bitter-sweet chocolate can be imagined along with memories of the sweet smell of fresh-cut grass; all a complex integration of flavors that make for a very desirable wine
  Holiday Harvest
All dressed up for the holidays, our Cranberry Rhubarb blend is the perfect wine to serve with your holiday meals. Our tart Cranberry Wine is tamed by blending it with our smooth, silky Rhubarb Wine, resulting in a wine that is easy to enjoy and a crowd pleaser - our second best seller!
  Pumpkin Wine
Yes, this wine is made from 100% pumpkin! With a surprising taste that is nothing like the pie, this wine has been extremely popular in our Tasting Room.
  Red Raspberry Wine
The nose of this wine is so fresh and bursting with ripe raspberries straight from the patch, that the smooth texture confuses the senses when no tiny seeds exist. The flavor floats gently over the pallet, and true to the berry, its sweet aroma and fruitiness is balanced by natural tartness. One of our sweeter fruit wines.
  Rhubarb Wine
A semi-sweet wine with bold undertones and gentle fruity flavors. The tamed tartness of the rhubarb brings a crisp finish, with only a hint of its origin. Nothing like any rhubarb dessert ever made, set your expectations high for this graceful wine. Starting in 2002, our Rhubarb Wine will have a new name; Piestengel Pink! It is the same great wine, just a fun, new name.
  Strawberry Wine
No hints, touches or nuances - from the first aroma only pure, fresh strawberries flood your palate and bombard the senses. This elementary fruit has been made deep and complex, but the pleasure remains simple. A semi-sweet wine, it is wonderful to serve chilled after a meal for a special, relaxing finish. Gold Medal Winner East Coast Wine Competition 2001
  Strawberry-Rhubarb Wine
The fragrant strawberry bouquet has been subdued by this harmonious pairing. This blending results in more than the sum of its parts, and stirs ideas of ginger, cherries and vanilla. The berriness of this wine is tamed as the rhubarb is barely noticeable, and would be excellent for after-dinner.
  Wedding Wine
The exotic flavors of our Kiwifruit Wine are presented in a beautiful package that is sure to please. A special feature offered ONLY on the Wedding Wine is our Personalized Neck Labels. The perfect gift for anniversaries, engagments and weddings. A semi-sweet wine, from the first cool, dry aroma it has a pleasing character all its own. To the pallet, it can be compared to a young white Zinfandel, but this exotic fruit has a uniqueness that displays a complex assortment of citrus, melon and herbal nuances that remain light and airy. Pair it with meals such as seafood and pasta.
  Wild Plum Wine
Nutty, lush flavors surround the wildness of this wine, with hints of the delicate, ripe, plum meat used in its creation. This is a lively wine with a fruity ending to an untamed, bold and ambitious beginning. Enjoy it with a light meal or heavy conversation. Made from wild plums picked in the Nicolet National Forest in northern Wisconsin by our customers and friends.
