San Martiño Winery & Vineyards
Welcome to San Martiño Winery & Vineyards. We are a small family-owned winery specializing in handcrafted wines using modern techniques but with a traditional “soul” borne in the fertile lands of northwestern Spain. The village of San Martiño, (see picture below), located in the mountains of the Galician region, has been making traditional wines for hundreds of years. Known for its Albariños and Ribeiro wines, traditional techniques matched with modern technology produce exquisite wines with incredible varietal and complex characteristics. It was at the village of San Martiño that our love and knowledge of wine and wine making techniques started. Through years of watching and helping our family in the vineyard and production room, we came to appreciate the special relationship between people, land and the food they grow. Borrowing from the traditions of the San Martiño village and its people, the tenacity and resolution of our family and the learned modern techniques of California wine makers, we present to you our dream. Our heritage is rich and although we are not Texas largest winery, we aim to be the best winery in the Lone Star State. Here you can watch us grow and participate with us as we travel together in this adventure because we know that without you we are not. Our facility is available for rent now for your special events. Check the event page and the rental policies and prices by clicking on Events on the menu on the top of the page.
So come by and visit with us while relaxing with a glass or bottle of your favorite wine. You can choose one of our Tapa plates to pair with our wines or bring your own picnic and enjoy a break from the rat race.
