A defining mark of every great city is a beer that brings its people together. In the early part of the last century, the Bronx was home to over 7 breweries, creating such legendary beers as Ebling's and Hupfel's. But with Prohibition, the breweries closed and brewing in the borough disappeared.
Now, over ninety years since the last brewery in the Bronx shut its doors, we established The Bronx Brewery in 2011. Our team comes from all walks of life – a professional athlete, a graphic designer, a beverage marketing consultant, and a master brewer – but we have two things in common: a maniacal focus on creating high-quality beer and a passion for the Bronx. Our traditionally crafted ales use only premium and minimally processed materials to create fresh, bold beers from a borough known for its own bold individual character. Join us in our journey as we bring this rich brewing tradition back to the Bronx and craft a beer that the people of the Bronx and New York City are proud to call their own

The Bronx Pale Ale
This deep amber, American-style pale ale is brewed with five different barley malts, generous additions of Cascade and Centennial hops, and a unique strain of yeast. The British, German and American malts used provide a blend of caramel, biscuit, and nutty malt flavors. The hops provide a gentle, pleasant bitterness with an intense floral and citrus aroma. It is dry-hopped, unfiltered and unpasteurized.
