Lake Chelan Winery

Lake Chelan Winery The Lake Chelan Winery is a small family owned winery located five miles up lake from Chelan on the way to Manson. The converted apple packing shed was the last privately owned apple packing operation in the Chelan Valley and it seems appropriate that it is now the first winery in the Lake Chelan area. After five years, we now are able to offer the first wines made from grapes actually grown in the Lake Chelan Valley. We have always known we could grow "world class wine grapes" and our first two vintages are proving us correct. Now it's up to you! Try our Chelan wines and let us know what you think. We are open every day 11 AM to 5 PM.

Directions
The Lake Chelan Winery is located between Chelan and Manson at 3519 on State Route 150. Just 5 miles from Chelan on the right side of the road, surrounded by vineyard.

  Chardonnay
A beautiful light golden straw color, with flavors of rich honeysuckle, ripe pears, hazelnuts, barrel toast and sweet vanilla bean, our Chardonnay is very filling and luscious. This wine would pair well with pasta, seafood and poultry entrees served with cream sauces and moderate to heavy seasoning.
  Estate Pinot Noir
This wine is a beautiful dark red with a slight purple tint. The flavors are sweet black cherries, raspberries and damask rose petals. The vanilla bean and smoky note from the barrel and the fine grain tannins complement the fruit component of this wine very well. This wine is a perfect match with duck, lamb, salmon and big, juicy grilled burgers. 2006 Los Angeles County Fair-Silver Medal
  Gewurztraminer
Blessed with classic exotic floral and spicy notes and great sugar-acid balance. Perfect match with blue cheeses, smoked salmon or cajun shrimp and "dirty" rice.
  Harding Estate Pinot Grigio
Delightful and refreshing, this wonderful summer wine has flavors of apple and pear. Pairs nicely with salmon or a light pasta dish.
  Muscado
  Muscat
The bouquet of tree ripe peaches and classic Muscat rose petals is framed beautifully with a touch of juicy lemons and Macintosh apples. Finished sweet, this wine is sure to please.
  NV Chardonnay
  Pinot Noir Rose
The cranberry red color is a prelude to the beautiful strawberry, cranberry and water-melon flavors and aromas present in this well-balanced rose.
  Rivers Bend Estate Cabernet Sauvignon
This beautiful purple-red wine offers aromas and flavors of dense brooding blackberries, black plums and black sweet cherries. A healthy dollop of sweet vanilla bean and graham cracker are nice additions compliments of the oak barrel aging. The wine is a perfect match with red meats to include beef, lamb and duck. Any pasta is good to go as well. The potential is there to age a solid 8 to 12 years. 2006 Riverside International Wine Competition-Bronze. 2006 Vineyard Management-Silver 2006 LA County Fair-Bronze
  Rivers Bend Estate Syrah
Originally planted in the early 50's our Rivers Bend Estate is a Washington State "pioneer" vineyard. Wines produced from thes revered site possess dark color, rich blackberry, purple plum and zesty-spicy flavors and aromas.
  Stormy Mountain Red
A dark garnet-red-purple color starts the tasting of this wine. The aromas and flavors are ripe raspberry, red charries and rose petals. A slight herbal note and substantial mint note are also present along with sweet vanilla bean (compliments of the barrels). This wine is one which will provide immediate enjoyment or should one desire to cellar the wine for 2-4 years, the wine will only improve its presentation. It matches well with burgers, pasta entrees served with red sauces or colde summer sandwiches.
