Verismo Wines is a family owned business owned by four brothers, Don, Nick, Frank and John D’Ambrosio. Before Verismo Wines was conceived the four brothers ran a traditional Italian restaurant called, “Frankie Johnnie and Luigi Too” located in Mountain View, California, and New York Style Sausage Company in Sunnyvale, CA. The D’Ambrosio brothers only mandate in all their ventures is, homemade fresh food and products, and lots of it. The combination of delicious recipes, hard work and dedication led to the D’Ambrosio brother’s family success.

Stella Red Wine
The 2006 Stretto has a rich ruby color with aromas of ripe Bing cherries, blueberries and rose pedals, with sweet vanilla accents. This wine has a supple mouth feel on entry– that highlights barrel spice, red fruits and jammy flavors, with a beautifully well balanced finish of soft oak infused tannins.

Stella Rose Wine
Stella Rosé Wine is made in a traditional French style from 100% Syrah grapes. The Syrah’s early harvest ensures a delicate, well balanced, smooth palate and lower alcohol content. This Rosé’s Strawberry-Kiwi essence adds a graceful mouth feel and a touch of elegance to an everyday lunch. Ideal to pair with lighter dishes such as salads, sandwiches, fish and poultry. Enjoy

Stretto Red Wine

This 2007 Sauvignon Blanc has a dazzling shade of lime-green with delicate aromas of citrus peel, kiwi and hits of green apples. Crisp and citrusy notes with balanced acidity and delicate flavors fill the palate.

Verismo Cabernet
Verismo’s Cabernet Sauvignon is a more feminine rendition of a classic Napa Valley cabernet. With its garnet color, and aromas of raspberries and earthy undertones with hints of hazelnut it is sure to entice the palate. The wine presents a soft entry with fine tannins that lead to a well balanced and long finish, exposing vibrant berry notes with hints of cassis and ripe plums that linger on the palate.

Verismo Malbec
2006 Malbec personifies the ink like essence of what a Malbec can be. This rich and muscular Malbec with aromas of tobacco, toast and leather lead the way for dark and ripe layers of red currant, figs and blackberries. The tannins are rich and silky and fill the palate with long exotic notes of spice and smoke on the finish. Cold soaked for 5 days on skins with two daily pump-over’s. Aged 20 Months in 90% New French Oak. Barrels program includes; Gamba, Saint-Martin, Saury, Treuil and Nadalie.
