Taste the cocoa, oregano, fennel, ripe cherry and cedar finish, then try to come up with even more ways to describe the intricacies of this deeply complex wine.
  Cabernet Sauvignon
Black currant, tobacco, blackberry jam and green tea are only a fraction of the aromas found in this wine. Grown in the steepest parts of the vineyard, the vines are slightly stressed and produce exceptionally small-berried clusters intense in color and complexity.
  Cabernet Sauvignon
Gold- LA County Fair Limited Production Gold- El Dorado County Fair Silver- California State Fair Silver- San Francisco International Wine Competition Silver- Calaveras County Fair Silver- Amador County Fair Bronze- LA County Fair This is a classic full-bodied cabernet with sarsaparilla, tobacco, black tea, black currents and earthy undertone aromas. Taste the black cherry, cedar, green olive and blackberry jam. This wine is drinking well now, and will only get better with age.
  Chardonnay
Fermented in neutral oak barrels, this wine flaunts tropical fruits, citrus and subtle nutty characters. Chardonnay, planted in the lowest elevation of the vineyard matures more slowly in the cooler temperatures of the early morning and late evening to produce smaller berries and more concentrated fruit.
Masque (Red Table Wine) Lot 1
A delightful blend of 86% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Petite Syrah and 7% Cabernet Franc. Blended to create a well balanced, fruit focused table wine, this wine can be enjoyed every day with a variety of meals. Opening with spicy nutmeg, black currants and clove on the nose, followed by a bright raspberry, blackberry and black cherry.
Masque (Red Table Wine) Lot 2
A delightful blend of 80% Cabernet Franc and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, this red Bordeaux blend is filled with aromas of blackberry preserves, tobacco, smoked bacon, cedar and sweet vanilla. Medium tannins, balanced acid and solid structure make this wine incredibly well-balanced and fill the palate with flavors of black cherries and cream, sweet oak, and black tea.
  Merlot
A classy wine with many layers. Keeping yields low on these vines creates a perfect balance between color, acid, structure and tannin. Full on the palate and bursting with berry fruits, hints of black tea, cedar and eucalyptus.
