  La Rochelle Chardonnay
Exhibiting great richness and complexity, this spectacular Chardonnay displays great draughts of tropical fruit, the biscuity notes of sur lie aging, and the subtle buttery flavor and texture from malo-lactic fermentation.
  La Rochelle Merlot
Tom employed “medium-plus toast” American and Eastern European oak for the aging process. The wine spent two years in the wood, softening and picking-up the complex vanilla-smoke-spice attributes of these exotic barrels. This Merlot is one of the finest ever made at our historic winery. While certainly ready to enjoy now, it should reward patient cellaring with additional development in the bottle over the next six to eight years…
  La Rochelle Monterey Pinot Noir
Exhibiting the intense dark fruits and beautiful acid balance typical of a Tom Stutz Pinot Noir, the 2003 La Rochelle Monterey Pinot Noir will age beautifully for the next 3-5 years. Made from fruit mostly from the family's San Vicente Vineyard, 2003 rewarded was a tougher growing year than 2002 or 2004, with more temperature swings - higher highs than average. This wine is a bit bigger than its 2002 counterpart, dark cherry and pomegranate aromas predominate. Good Pinot Noir is difficult to make under any circumstances, but terrific Pinot Noir at this price is practically unheard of. Only 180 cases were produced!
  San Vicente Pinot Noir
The 2003 San Vicente Pinot Noir is a massive wine in both nose and mouth. Aromas are somewhat shy at first with hints of wild cherry and pomegranate peeking through, but with aeration red cherry, Asian spice, orange peel, fennel seed, and forest floor notes abound. In the mouth, there is a very pleasing sense of weight with nice viscosity.
