Mona Rose Winery

We are a local family-owned winery focusing on handcrafted small batch fermentations of wine that can be tailored to customer requests.
Since 2009, we have been producing wine for personal use. We received an overwhelming response to our wine and decided in December of 2013 to open the first winery in Ashwaubenon, adjacent to Green Bay. Mona Rosa Winery is set in a residential area on a popular bike and walking trail. Our fermentation room is located on-site and open for public viewing. We invite sampling of the wines as they progress before they are bottled.
As a winemaker, I enjoy the opportunity to choose the wine's style and taste profile. We focus on and specialize in the old world varietal wines. Our raw product comes from California and we incorporate different yeast blends, oak selections and varietal blends. For example, our Cellar Door Big Red blend incorporates Malbec, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon for a bold wine with a mellow finish. Our Petite Sirah, while a dry red, is very fruity. It appeals to those who generally drink a sweet, red wine as well as others who prefer a more tannic wine. Some other varietals that we carry include Sangiovese, Tempranillo, Chardonnay, Riesling, Viognier, Muscat and Pinot Grigio.
