Vignoble Domaine de l'Ardennais

Located in the Eastern Townships, in Stanbridge-East, the domain was named by the founder of the vineyard, François Samry, native of the Ardennes. The new owners, Lucie Larose & Gary Skinner, acquired the domain in July 2002. They devote considerable hours and efforts in order to accomplish their goal and also realize their dream. "The outsanding quality of the products" and "A warm welcome" are two of the most important values for this family owned enterprise. The vineyard has been in operation since 1995. The 15,500 vine-stocks aligned on hillsides are benificent from the mildness of nearby lake Champlain and amid a large pond bringing a micro-climate favorable to the numerous vine-plants such as: Marechal Foch, Chancellor, de Chaunac, white Seyval, Vidal, Riesling, Cayuga, Black Seyval, Muscat and a numbered Hybrid. The vineyard is open yeard-round. The proprietors and their daughter reside at the domain in a centenary house permitting very flexible hours to visitors.

From Montreal region take on Autoroute 10 East, take exit 55 and route 235 South toward Farnham continue on route 235 South to Bedford. Turn on route 202 East toward Cowansville, you will see our road sign at approximately 2 km after leaving Bedford. From Quebec, take on Autoroute 20 West, take exit 130 then 116 and 235 South toward Farnham, continue on 235 South to Bedford. Turn on route 203 East toward Cowansville, you will see our road sign at approximately 2 km after leaving Bedford. From the U.S., coming 101 (U.S.) take route 235 North to Bedford then 203 East toward Cowansville. 89 (U.S.) take 202 East toward Bedford and Cowansville. 108 (U.S.) take 237 to Stanbridge East then 202 West toward Bedford, you will see our road sign.
