Our most intensely colored Barbera ever! This deep, dark, almost purple wine is what our winemaker noted as "blueberry city!" Its aromas are multilayered with vanilla, cedar and raspberry. The wine is ultra rich on the palate and silky smooth from start to finish. It exhibits blackberry jam with underlying earth tones at the mid-palate that carry effortlessly to the long and deliciously jammy finish. Drink now through 2014.

This Rhone-style wine starts with an intriguing inky, blood-red color and enticing aromas of jam, black licorice, mint and pepper. Next come the bold, lush flavors of plum and blackberry jam, nicely balanced with big melting tannins on a long, luscious finish of black cherry and cocoa. Drink now or age three to seven years.

The 2007 Primitivo hails from our own estate ranch right here on the property. The wine is a deep brick red color exuding aromas of cocoa powder, graham crackers, vanilla wafers, blackberries and dark cherry. Look closely and you'll also find hints of toasted caramel. The entry is very soft by Primitivo standards which gives way to great volume and balance on the palate. This complex wine has pronounced flavors of bright red fruit and hints of cedar and tobacco finishing with Bing cherries. Drink now through 2013.

Our 2007 offering is deep ruby in color. Loaded with black licorice, cedar and cherry notes, there are also indications of roasted nuts, cranberry and black fruit jam. On the palate, this is a big, rich wine with dark fruit flavors. With opulent, well balanced tannins and fresh plum on the mid palate you'll find this wine to have great succulence with hints of cocoa powder and blackberries. Drink now through 2013.
