Weston Winery
|
|
Weston Vineyards were established when C. H. and Murray Weston moved to Sunnyslope, Idaho in 1981. The site, at an altitude of 2800 feet is the highest altitude vineyard in the northwest. A small building was converted into the winery and the first Weston wines were produced. This first crush produced 500 cases of varietal wines. Since then Weston Winery has never looked back!
Today, Weston wines are Idaho's bench mark of quality and are recognized for their affordable high quality varietal flavor. Family owned and operated, Weston wines are continually expanding and refining their vineyard and winery operations.

Idaho Chardonnay
Chardonnay grapes thrive in our Sunnyslope growing area. Fermented in barrels made with Alder and center of France oak to accentuate their toasty buttery characteristics. The wine is allowed to remain on its original lees to give it added complexity and a more full bodied flavor. Subtle complexities of lemons and acacia compliment a wide variety of fish dishes, white meats, upland game birds and rich sauces.

Idaho Johannisberg Riesling
Delicately balanced with an apple scented nose, this wine is produced from Idaho's most popular varietal grape. Grown in the viticultural area of Sunnyslope along the Snake River in soils composed of sand and volcanic ash. Divine with any appetizer, especially nice with chicken, salads and light foods.
