Cabernet Sauvignon
A classic California Cabernet that truly expresses the terroir that Paso Robles Cabernet is known for due to our organic farming and a great vineyard that is one of the oldest and most famous in the area. It's varietally expressive nose has hints of dark chocolate, spices, cassis and smoked cedar. On the palate there are currants, wild raspberries, ProvenÁal herbs and well integrated oak. It has the power one expects from Paso Robles Cabernet with the elegance and balance that Casa Barranca wines are known for. Firm and ripe it's immediately appealing and will continue to evolve for several years. A great match for grilled or roasted meats, especially lamb and beef, ripe and aged cheeses and meat based pastas.
