Situated on the Niagara Escarpment, home to the perfect microclimate for world class Riesling Grapes. Come be part of the Western New York experience and taste our very best wines. Our 78 acres with walking paths and 8-acre lake will offer a unique retreat. Your adventure will begin with a peaceful drive down a winding roadway alongside a wooded forest that contains many 100 ft Larch trees imported from England. Beyond the next bend you will pass Varallo Vineyards, where ten acres of premium varieties of the Riesling grape have been planted to produce our estate wine. Continuing on you will see the unique stone winery and production plant situated in front of a cool clear pond. Once parked you can enjoy a stroll past the stone gardens to enter the wine tasting building. Through these doors a Tuscan like setting awaits you that showcases a collection of artwork. In the center of this beautiful display is an oil painting created by our own family artist that depicts the hometown in Italy where our wine making traditions began!
Other attractions that can be part of your experience include the Wine Barrel Gift shop, home to many crafts as well as cookies made with a unique Italian recipe that use a chocolate, orange, and nut grape filling. After tasting our wine and visiting the grounds you may choose to relax on the outdoor patio with yet another treasure to cleanse your palate, BelAcqua. This is an Italian name meaning "beautiful water" for it is a fresh mineral water taken straight from the earth to the bottle. Our mission at Spring Lake Winery is to offer a world-class late harvest Riesling and Pinot Noir, with an experience you will treasure.

Cabernet Sauvignon
Full-bodied and upfront, expressing ripe mouth coating currant, cherry and fancy berry aromas. Tannins are controlled and the finish is balanced. A very easy-going, approachable red that is perfect with grilled or roasted meats and dark chocolate. Best enjoyed at cellar temperature.

Chardonnay
Rich, lively, and finishing delicately with hints of citrus, green apple, pear, and a delicious array of earthy mineral flavours. This delicious wine is a perfect expression of the Napa Valley fruit from which it is made. You’ll find this bright, full-bodied white wine perfect with cream or butter-based sauces, seafood or any white meat from the grill. Best enjoyed slightly chilled.

Gewurztraminer
This beguiling Gewurztraminer has a stunning bouquet of apricot, pear, and banana. The unctuous dry palate is nicely balanced with bracing acidity. The wine pairs beautifully with seafood, grilled spicy sausage, as well as a nice ripe blue cheese such as gargonzola. Serve chilled.

Merlot
Vibrant, floral and earthy, expressing mocha and fancy wild berries. Full-bodied with controlled tannins and a long, mellow finish. Delicate floral aromas with enough spicy intensity to make this a wonderful accompaniment to gamey meats from the grill or a bold sauce. Best enjoyed at cellar temperatures.

Syrah
Power and spice and everything nice. This spectacular wine has modest tannins and a deeply inviting aroma. Toasted dark fruits are infused with wonderful candied cherry, making this delicious full-bodied red perfect for a nicely seasoned meat from the grill or a rich dark chocolate dessert. Best enjoyed at cellar temperature.

White Syrah
An extremely versatile, medium-bodied rose expressing hints of ripe cherry, guava, vanilla, and honey. This wine is crisp and long with a controlled, fruity finish. The elegant allure of this crisp varietal wine lies in its exotic floral aroma. Pairs wonderfully with cold hors d'oeuvres or fruit. Serve chilled.
