Products

  Black Muscat - Fair Play
Grown in Fair Play in a Davis degree day region three, this 2006 Black Muscat ripened perfectly. The winemaker pressed the freshly crushed grapes to avoid the dark color frequently associated with this varietal. Cold fermented and stopped with 5% residual sugar this exquisite dessert wine is perfectly balanced with its naturally crisp acidity.
  Chardonnay — El Dorado
A traditional California Chardonnay. Beautiful satisfying texture, rich flavors balanced by domestic and French oak.
  Estate Semillon — Fair Play
  Merlot — El Dorado
This lovely soft merlot is produced from 100% El Dorado fruit. Aging 14 months in French and American oak barrels results in and elegant, deep flavored wine that pours well by it self or pairs with many red meats or even a barbecue.
NV Grandma Betty's Zinfandel — California
  Primitivo — Amador County
Reserve Cabernet Franc — El Dorado
The origin of Cabernet Franc is a blending grape in Bordeaux, as well as the most widely planted grape in Saint-Emilion and Pomerol. The winemaker enjoys the blueberry fruit quality as well as balanced with a touch of tannen and eighteen months in French and American oak. Enjoy this beautiful Cabernet Franc.
Reserve Pinot Noir — El Dorado
This 2005 El Dorado Pinot Noir was inspired by Burgundy, the grape's origin. This delicate and fragile wine requires careful handling in vineyard and winery. Please enjoy this lovely wine
  Reserve Zinfandel — Fair Play
This is a strong bodied Zinfandel packed with ripe berry flavors and beautifully balanced.
  Reserve Zinfandel Amador
Amador County is our neighbor to the south, which is located 1500 feet lower than our winery. This extra heat and sun produce a more intense Zinfandel, with 15% alcohol. A distinctive, not 100% dry wine. Enjoy this typical Amador Zinfandel.
  Reserve Zinfandel El Dorado
This large-berried, tight-clustered grape is especially sensitive to rain near harvest time. Many wine drinkers believe El Dorado is the perfect appellation to grow this somewhat tricky varietal. Please enjoy this beautiful reserve Zinfandel grown in perfect climate and soil conditions.
  Sauvignon Blanc — Fair Play
The winemaker has worked with this estate varietally correct vineyard for fourteen years. Packed with fruit and herbal flavors, this bone-dry wine is blended to a tiny bit of Semillon to soften its boldness. A beautiful pairing to shellfish and many poultry dishes
  Zinfandel — Fiddletown
