Nestled on the southwest slope of one of Ithaca's most picturesque and convenient settings, Six Mile Creek Vineyard is a boutique winery featuring a variety of hand-crafted wines. As a family partnership, Nancy and Roger Battistella handle all aspects of the business from concept to production, with additional support from a dedicated and knowledgeable staff that is ready to make your visit to the Finger Lakes more enjoyable. Housed in a restored turn-of-the-century Dutch-reform barn, the tasting room offers captivating views overlooking six acres of grapevines that descend into the Six Mile Creek gorge.
Located within minutes of Ithaca's two campuses, Cornell University and Ithaca College, as well as the beautifully developed downtown area, the winery becomes a hub for information on local tourism including restaurants, shopping facilities, lodgings, and nearby state parks. As a member of the Cayuga Wine Trail since 1987, Six Mile Creek Vineyard works collectively with neighboring wineries to increase the awareness and enjoyment of the wines of the Finger Lakes. Positioned at the southern-most tip of the trail, the winery serves as an excellent starting point to initiate your visit into wine country.

Directions
From Downtown Ithaca: Six Mile Creek Vineyard is located in close proximity to Cornell University and Ithaca College. From Downtown Ithaca follow Route 79 East. The winery and vineyards are only two miles from the downtown area, just past the blinking lights. There are signs as you approach. From Albany: Take the NYS Thruway (I-90West) to exit 36. Follow I-81 South to exit 12, then follow 281S to Route 13 South. Once in town, look for Route 79 East, Green Street, and follow above directions from Downtown Ithaca. From Binghamton: Follow Interstate 81 North and continue on to exit 8 for Whitney Point. Follow signs for Route 79 West towards the town of Ithaca. Once in the city limits, the winery will soon be on the left hand side. There is a sign as you approach.
