Soaring Wings Vineyard

Soaring Wings Vineyard We are mostly a family run operation at Soaring Wings. Operations in the Vineyard began in March of 2001 with winery operations comencing in August of 2003. Sharon and Jim Shaw are the sole owners. Jim is presently the head winemaker and also oversees the vineyard, construction, and business plan. Sharon uses her past managerial experience to manage the tasting area and public events. Son Jeremy, and daughters Sara and Teresa lend extra help when needed. Herb McCaulla just joined us as an assistant wine maker and nephew Mat Pierce lends some part time help in the vineyard. Brother Mark has lent a hand at many of the miscellaneous mechanical chores that pop up around the winery. Of course there will be more when the winery actually opens to the public. Sort of like having babies, just not as painful! We must also acknowledge many of our other family members who have aided in many different ways in the building of this dream.
