  2000 Reserve Petite Sirah
McDowell's first release of Petite Sirah since we mislabeled our first Syrah as Petite Sirah back in 1979. This is a huge, rich, spicy wine with tons of fruit and pepper spice. This wine won't be released till early summer, and will only be available through our tasting room. Don't miss out on this great wine - limited availability and it will sell out fast!!
  2001 Marsanne
A dry, rich Rhône white wine loaded with flavors of pears and melons and honeysuckle floral aromas. Crisp fruit flavors and a luscious mouthfeel makes this a superb food wine, great with seafood, roasted chicken or Chinese food.
  2001 Port
A beautiful, luscious Port with layers of berry fruit, vanilla oak spice, and interesting floral aromas. Modestly sweet, with a soft and classic structure from one of the finest American brandy, Germain Robin, this is a Port to enjoy now, or to cellar for future enjoyment.
  2001 Potato Patch Syrah
At an elevation of 2200 ft. and within sight of the Pacific Ocean, the "Potato Patch" vineyard lives life on the extreme, begrudgingly yielding one ton per acre of the most extraordinary grapes. This Syrah is bold, dynamic and layered with dense fruit and spice complexity underscored with luxurious toasty vanilla oak.
  2001 Rodeo Red
Rodeo Red is a great wine to enjoy everyday, whether sipping on the deck watching the sun set, or to complement a simple steak dinner. Soft and easy drinking, with round berry flavors and a bit of black pepper spice. This red wine goes great with pizza, pasta, barbecued ribs, salmon, or simply good friends.
  2002 Grenache Noir
Double Gold Medal - Best of Show, 2004 El Dorado County Wine Competition. Gold Medal - Best of Class, North of the Gate Wine Competition - Sonoma-Marin Fair.
  2002 Reserve Syrah
A huge, dense, luscious wine with layers of fruit, toasty oak and spicy complexity. Jammy, berry flavors are complemented by mineral notes, violet floral aromas, and firm tannin structure for ageability.
  2003 Grenache Noir
This "red" Grenache, is produced from Grenache Noir grapes. McDowell has always produced a Grenache Rosé that is made from our old vine fruit of Grenache Gris, a much lighter grape than the deep, dark Grenache Noir. This wine is very supple, with soft velvety tannins and flavors of cherry and a bit of spice. A very gracious wine, this wine will go well with rich seafood dishes like salmon or tuna, as well as roast pork or chicken.
  2003 Grenache Rosé
A DRY, CRISP, PINK WINE bursting with strawberry and watermelon fruit flavors! Like Sushi? Like Thai food? Better than beer! Great for a barbecue on a warm spring evening, great for the holidays too. "A delicious choice for turkey dinner is dry rose. This one is juicy and fresh, bursting with cherry, watermelon, and even a touch of tart cranberry flavors." - The New York Times
  2003 Viognier
A crisp, Rhône white wine with ripe, tropical fruit flavors with good balance and a lingering finish. It smells and tastes of tangerine and pineapple with a hint of honeysuckle. "Lots of smoke and butterscotch-y tapioca in the nose, and a spicy, peaches - and - cream sweetness. Drinks very fruity, with ripe peach and citrus flavors and spices, but is very dry...." - Wine Enthusiast
  2003 Western White
Western White is a fresh, fruity crisp white wine bursting with flavors of green apple, melon and citrus. This unpretentious wine is perfect for picnics, brunch, grilled seafood or spicy food. Enjoy this easy drinking white wine with friends all year round!
