Jeriko Estate
Jeriko Estate Vineyard and Visitors Center is nestled in a picturesque valley just North of Hopland in Southern Mendocino County. Owner Daniel Fetzer was introduced to winemaking and viticulture when he was five years old by his Father, Barney Fetzer. Growing grapes and making wine became his way of life from then on. In 1992, the family label was sold allowing Danny to devote more time to his true passion, the vineyards. Jeriko Estate, named after the ancient community of Jericho which honored ancient practices while utilizing progressive farming techniques, is now open to the public after years of planning. Large sections of the original vineyards have been replanted to more specific clonal varieties. Jeriko currently produces small handcrafted lots of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Syrah, and Sangiovese with annual special releases of Brut, and Pinot Rosé. All of the grapes are organically grown, a practice cultivated by the Fetzer family for almost fifty years. Stewarding the land for future generations is one of our most important missions at Jeriko Estate. There are tours available of the vineyard and winery with reservations. The architecture of Jeriko Estate is visually stunning. Designed by Danny Fetzer, it is a cross between Mission and Mediterranean styles which blend in well with the surrounding landscape. A gift shop focusing on local and regional artists and crafts as well as foods can be found in our estate tasting room. We are open daily from 10-5 for wine tasting. Enjoy our elegant surroundings with a picnic on the patio or a stroll through the hills! For more information about Jeriko wines and winery events explore more of our web site or call (707) 744-1140.

Brut
Jeriko's "old river block" Chardonnay is the mother of this outstanding cuvee. The nations first & only sparkling made from certified organically grown grapes. This cuvee was fermented & aged in neutral oak puncheons then set sur lees for three years prior to disgorging.
Chardonnay Dijon Clone
Complex and full-bodied. Lush and creamy, yet tinged with citrus flavors of Meyer lemon and pineapple. Nice integration of oak and fruit. Another exquisite Chardonnay from our Dijon clone vineyards!
Chardonnay Dijon Clone
This Chardonnay clone grows in small clusters with smaller berries & in turn yields more fruit intensity. Upon harvest 80% of this fruit undergoes a long cool fermentation in stainless steel whereas the remaining 20% is fermented sur lee in French & American Oak achieving complete malolactic conversion. The wine sees a full 18 months in blended Oak cooperage.
Merlot
Dark, ripe & concentrated, with plush black currant, earth & blackberry flavors. Round, ripe tannins linger, along with cedar and vanilla notes. Drink now through 2009.
Pinot Noir
Small open topped fermenters are used for our select lots of Pommard and Dijon clone Pinot Noir. Delicious bouquet of bright cherries and appealing silky fruit are surrounded by a creamy vanilla structure.
Pinot Noir
Select lots of Pommard & Dijon clones carefully selected & gently handled are cold soaked for five days with 20% whole clusters. Small open topped fermentors are used & then these intense cluster grapes are allowed to show off in French Montrachet, Francois Freres & Vicard barrels with out manipulation for 15 months.
Pinot Noir Rosé
Refreshing aromas of grapefruit and strawberry! A great food wine, strawberries kissed by the sun. A perfect companion for brunch menus or as an aperitif on your deck or patio.
Sangiovese
Rich aromas of currants, mulberries and cherries are followed by bright flavors of black cherries, plum and black pepper spice. Classic Sangiovese structure with bold, well integrated fruit, sensuous tannins and firm acidity. Delicioso!
Sangiovese
A favorite at Jeriko Estates this small lot of Sangiovese produces the most limited of Jeriko's still wines. This unique wine comes from one of the vineyards original plantings & is cultivated in exacting Jeriko style with organic fruit & very little manipulation.
Syrah
Rich berry fruit with a deep earthy nose. Ripe red fruit with hints of cocoa and white pepper spiece held together by American and French oak. What Jeriko Estate is known for.
